Christ Lutheran School is the Mission of Christ Lutheran Church. 

 
Christ Lutheran School is an educational arm of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Its primary purpose is to aide the parents of Christ Evangelical Lutheran congregation (and surrounding Lutheran churches), in their obligation to bring up their children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.”   Ephesians 6:4
 
Our school serves families from West Bloomfield, Wild Rose, Weyauwega, Saxeville, Berlin, and Waupaca.

 Scholarship Fund Information
 
Purpose:  To expand the effort to spread the gospel by financially assisting Missouri Synod members who are students involved and/or enrolled in a program of Christian Education.
 

Eligibility:  Any member of a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod who is attending or enrolled in a program of Christian education is eligible for benefits from this fund. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Seminary program for pastoral ministry
  • Study for LCMS teaching/school position
  • Study for deaconess profession
  • Tuition assistance for attendance at Christian Day, High School, or college program.

This excludes attendance at seminars, workshops, spiritual growth classes for professional church workers and lay members, and regularly scheduled school/church conferences attended by our professional staff.

Benefits:  The fund shall be a minimum of a $1000.00 distribution per year, provided as a mission budget item for the Board of Stewardship in the annual budget. Additional benefits may be provided as extra funds are available pursuant to gifts and bequests. Benefits will be payable to either individuals or institutions as directed by the Board of Adult Christian Education.
 
Administration of Fund:  The Board of Adult Christian Education shall have control of, and administer, the fund. They will be responsible for providing the congregation with an annual report of distributions.
 
Meeting:  The Board shall initiate publication of applications for the scholarship fund in the May Newsletter. The Board shall review all subsequently received applications and determine distribution of funds to eligible candidates.  Beneficiaries of fund monies shall be reported to the Church Planning Council and voters in the August meeting.
 
Quorum:  A majority of the membership of the Board of Adult Christian Education shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business relative to this fund, and a majority vote shall be necessary to sustain a motion.
 
Gifts and Bequests:  Members of Christ Lutheran Church are encouraged to contribute individual gifts and bequests to this fund.
